Rooted in

WOODLAND.

Designed for

CONNECTION.

Flimwell Park began with a simple but ambitious vision: to create a place where architecture, woodland and community could exist in harmony.‍ ‍Set within 46 acres of beautiful broadleaved coppiced woodland in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the site has been carefully shaped to reconnect people with nature - whether they come here to work, eat, stay, learn, walk or simply pause for a moment among the trees.

At its heart, Flimwell Park is an intergenerational family business. The O’Callaghan family’s values - care, longevity, creativity and responsibility - have guided the project from the beginning. What started as a commitment to protect and celebrate the woodland has grown into one of the UK’s first mixed-use sustainable woodland developments: a place designed not only for today, but for future generations.

A Lighter Footprint

in Every Detail

Built with sustainable materials, including responsibly sourced timber, and powered by around 300 solar photovoltaic cells that help provide electricity and heat water.

Solar panels across the roofs, walls and canopies help Flimwell Park use more renewable energy and less conventional power.

EV chargersacross the site support lower-impact travel, including six Tesla Supercharger points and additional chargers for other electric vehicles.

Beyond the buildings, our woodland management plan is helping to restore habitats, improve biodiversity and support native species - including the rare Heath Lobelia, one of the UK’s rarest wildflowers. Through conservation, woodland learning, creative enterprise and public access, Flimwell Park is creating a resilient, inspiring environment where people and nature can thrive together.

Flimwell Park is more than a destination. It is a living, evolving example of how thoughtful design, family stewardship and deep respect for the natural world can shape a healthier, more connected future.
